4. Extrusion Machinery Descriptions:
4.1 Extrusion Machine
The structure of the machine is the grooved wheel and shaft assembly. The main shaft is driven by an infinitely variable, thyristor controlled DC electric motor, via an epicyclical gearbox. The power output envelope from the drive is matched to the production rates specified by operator. There is mount roller bearings that incorporate multiple seals to retain oil and prevent the ingress of foreign material.
The Coining roll assembly to coin the feed rod firmly in the wheel groove.
The shoe contains the die-chamber assembly can be opened and closed easily by hydraulic cylinder, high pressure cylinder used to support the shoe in working position. With supplement tooling, the extrusion wheel of the machine can be replaced easily. Exchange chamber and die is also very fast.
4.2 Water Cooling System
The cooling system consists of machinery cooling water tank and product cooling water tank. The machinery cooling is water cooling of wheel and machinery. The product cooling system and cleaning utilizes softened water together with anti-oxidants and brighteners to enhance the product quality. The product is drying after exit cooling system.
Both of them adopt circulating water system with pumps and plate heat exchangers with outer water. The outer water then be cooled by cooling tower or deep well.? Thus makes a closed recycle system and the water waste can be minimized.
4.3 Product Length Counter
Length counter is in-line length electro-mechanical length counting with a roller driven LED apparatus which operate at all-line speeds and set up to display the product length in digit.
The Product line speed counting can be done at the MMI computer.
4.4 Take-up Stand
The product can be wound onto a normal drum to produce coils of wires. The take-up control system is designed to handle a wide range of products and can be operated with various tensions down to near zero. Product coil can be taken from the shaft quickly and easily.? It uses standard DIN drum, the size is 2000mm.
4.5 Hydraulic and Lubricate System
The extrusion machine operates with separated 30Mpa super high hydraulic system to clamp the shoe in place by hydraulic cylinders and separated lubricant system ensures the bearings are adequately lubricated and correct operating statuses are maintained.
There are hydraulics for shoe clamping, closing, opening and wheel clamping completed with hydraulic aggregate, oil filtration and cooling.
Also lubricate central bearing, gearbox and cooling of bearing lubricant by heat exchanger.
4.6 Electric and Computer Control system
The electrical system adopts EuroTherm? 590+ DC Driver, Mitsubishi? PLC controller and all major components are products of Telemecanique? electricity, which ensure the reliability of control system.
The production line is controlled by an touch screen system mounted in the console. Highly specialized control software communicates with the PLC, Control and monitor tasks are automatically done by the PLC.

4.7 Feedstock Pay-off:
This is a unit to de-coil feedstock easily and avoid twisting. It's firmly grounded with vertical spindle to pay off rods by haul.
4.8 Feedstock Straightener Unit
Rod straightening unit is a robust stand with pairs of guide entry rollers and two sets of zigzag straightening wheel units.
The feedstock pay-off and straightener are no-power units; the extrusion machine has sufficient power to pull off the feedstock rod through the straightener.
4.9 Feed-in and Cutting System
Auto Feeder is a motor and pneumatic/hydraulic mechanism to automatically drag the rod to the entry of the extrusion groove. Sharp cutter allowing Auto shear off the rod whenever need. It is mounted on the stand of the straightener.
